I AM THANKFUL FOR …

MY HUSBAND WHO WORKS ALL THE TIME BECAUSE HE HAS A JOB AND PROVIDES FOR OUR FAMILY.

FOR THE NOISE & MESS MY CHILDREN MAKE, BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN BLESSED WITH CHILDREN.

FOR THE CLOTHES THAT FIT A LITTLE TOO TIGHT, BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE ENOUGH TO EAT.

FOR THE PILE OF LAUNDRY, BECAUSE IT MEANS MY FAMILY AND I HAVE CLOTHES TO WEAR.

FOR THE PHONE RINGING, BECAUSE IT MEANS THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO CARE AND WANT TO TALK TO ME.

FOR BEING TIRED AT THE END OF THE DAY, BECAUSE IT MEANS THAT I HAVE BEEN CAPABLE OF WORKING HARD.

FOR A FLOOR THAT NEEDS SWEEPING, WINDOWS THAT NEED CLEANING, SHOWERS AND TOILETS THAT NEED SCRUBBING BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE A HOME.

FOR THE ALARM THAT GOES OFF IN THE EARLY MORNING HOURS, BECAUSE IT MEANS THAT I AM ALIVE.

FOR THE MESS TO CLEAN AFTER A PARTY, BECAUSE IT MEANS THAT I HAVE BEEN SURROUNDED BY FRIENDS.

FOR ALL THE BIRTHDAY PARTIES MY CHILDREN ATTEND BECAUSE IT MEANS THEY TOO, HAVE BEEN BLESSED WITH FRIENDS.

FOR THE PARKING SPOT I FIND AT THE FAR END OF THE PARKING LOT, BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM CAPABLE OF WALKING AND THAT I HAVE BEEN BLESSED WITH TRANSPORTATION.

FOR THE TEARS I HAVE SHED BECAUSE IT MEANS I STILL CARE.

FOR MY KIDS HAVING LOTS OF HOMEWORK, BECAUSE IT MEANS SOMEONE IS WILLING TO TEACH THEM.

FOR THE WORK I AM BEHIND ON, BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE BEEN BLESSED WITH WORK!

AND SO MUCH MORE . . . FUNNY HOW THE THINGS THAT SOMETIMES AGGRAVATE US ARE BLESSINGS IN DISGUISE!

I AM SO THANKFUL FOR MY WONDERFUL FAMILY & AMAZING FRIENDS :) I REALLY DO LOVE YOU ALL!

What to wear for a family photo shoot?

This is a question I am asked by almost EVERY client who schedules a family photo shoot! I always respond, "Coordinate don't match!" So here are some examples! You also want to think about where the picture will be placed in your home if you plan on having a family photo framed.

Suggestion: Pick an inspiration piece and go from there. Like a plaid skirt or floral skirt. Don't forget to accessorize :) It's better to buy a few options & take some back, then to be in a pickle the day of your shoot! Happy shopping :)

Baby Jack!

Baby Jack was born June 28th! He is so sweet & little...and probably still mad at me for taking his clothes off! On Wednesday the 30th I drove down to Northside Hospital to snap some pictures of the Trotter family's newest addition. Here are a few of my favorites.

New Logo!

Today I created a new logo! I took votes on two different color schemes and this one won. I love the pop of color. I have spring fever BAD, and I think it inspired my color choice. I'm editing pictures from three weddings! Researching & shopping websites, and getting ready to go out of town for my daughter's cheer competition. Busy, busy, busy! Wouldn't have it any other way!
Hopefully by next week sometime I'll have my blog filled with pictures! Stay tuned!
